The Trade Union Competence Centre (TUCC) also advises on all activities the FES country offices in Sub-Saharan Africa are conducting as part of FES’s “International Trade Union Policy Programmes” in collaboration with the Global Union Federations (GUFs). The Competence Centre is also the responsible implementation office for activities which take place in South Africa under that particular programme. Beyond this the FES TUCC helps the African regional offices of the GUFs – amongst the TUCC’s main partner organisations – to coordinate their activities, campaigns and projects in an annual GUF Forum.
